September 10th-12th Down on the Dorset coast, the friendly Folk Festival just keeps growing.
Now an established fixture on the calendar they continue to provide entertainment and fun, for all, much of it free!
Many dance sides travel from all over the country to dance at Swanage, the dancers in their costumes add a vibrancy to the atmosphere in town.

On the 24 & 25th June, 2006, the British Tractor Challenge was held at, Hullavington, Wiltshire.
The World record attempt was to get 2006 tractors working at one time in one 'field' (airfield in this case!).
This had never been done in this country before, but with The Plonkers playing live, "anything was possible"
With a total of 2141 tractors in one field, they did it.
On the same weekend The Plonkers also got a very special new fan.
At just 19 years old, Anna Parnell-Brookes became their latest fan
when they held the world tractor challenge at Hullavington, her dad also likes Scrumpy & Western music and coz Anna was born in the country, (the heart of Wiltshire), she has also grown fond of their music. Take a look at Anna's site now:
